Bluestone Consulting's overcomes the sterility of instructor-less computer-based training with Interactive Distance Learning. IDL provides flexible, convenient and highly-effective technical training -- when, where and how you need it.

When you enroll, you receive audiotapes of your instructor's lectures and instructions. An accompanying student guide contains copies of all visuals pertaining to the taped lectures, as well as additional supporting illustrations and explanations. All appropriate reference books and student course materials are provided.

The course begins when you are ready to focus, turn on a tape, and follow the instructions. As you listen, you use the student guide to view supporting diagrams and examples. Throughout the instruction, specific page and line numbers are referenced so that you remain in sync with the instructor.

Throughout the course your instructor maintains regular contact with you to monitor your progress, answer specific questions, and keep you moving in the right direction. Contact is made via phone during determined office hours and via email. At specified intervals, the audiotapes direct you to hands-on lab exercises, which are monitored by the instructor via email.
